IOC Congress 2018 was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building, on behalf of the International Ornithologists’ Union (IOU). The weeklong congress featured a diverse range of activities including an opening ceremony and parade, an expo hall, and bird-related tours and activities that were open to the general public. For the first time in its history, the Congress partnered with the Vancouver International Bird Festival, Artists for Conservation, and other organizations to produce lectures and activities across various venues in Vancouver.
