Sobeys Leaders’ Forum – The Supplier Partnership Summit

The Leaders’ Forum serves as a platform for Sobeys to bring together leaders from across Canada, enabling them to review results, discuss strategies, and prepare the company for future challenges. The Supplier Partnership Summit invites suppliers to engage in discussions about plans and products for the upcoming year, culminating in a lunch networking reception. With the theme “Driving Growth Together,” the event underscored the values of growth, resilience, and partnership, reflecting Sobeys’ commitment to collaboration for collective success. This theme also harmonized with the company’s newly announced partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee, celebrating teamwork as the cornerstone of triumph.

MCI’s comprehensive event management responsibilities included event strategy & design, creative services, venue sourcing, contracting, budgeting, registration, food & beverage, staffing, décor, and exhibit. In addition to overseeing subcontracted production and audiovisual services, MCI collaborated with Sobeys Inc. on booth design and displays, coordinating the build, floorplan, load-in schedules, staffing, and venue deliverables to ensure a seamless and successful event.
